When the brazilian pilot Jose Hernandez found the agonizing alien Tagin Sur, he was selected as the new Green Lantern from his sector… in the universe of earth-D.
Sadly, the career of Hernandez as earth’s Green Lantern was brief. The Antimonitor attacked earth-D and along with the surviving members of the Justice Alliance, Jose died to give to the heroes of earth-1 more time to rescue the civilians treathened by the antimatter wave.
