Katrina and date Arnold Andrews were elected Riverhead High School Prom Queen and King.
A jealous student dropped a can of chocolate syrup on Andrews, killing him instantly. Enraged, Katrina used her witchcraft powers to kill all of the Prom attendees. Lethargic Comics Weakly #1
Wracked with guilt, Katrina ran away from Riverhead. Katrina’s Aunt blamed Andrews for taking Katrina to the Prom, causing her to reveal her true nature. She cursed the grave of Arnold Andrews, causing him to return from the grave as the ghostly guardian, The Grad.
Katrina would return to Riverhead aiding The Grad against mystical menaces time and time again as well as rekindling the romance that began that fateful Prom night.
