Kennan Taanzer

In The Clone Wars the planet of Nadiem was attacked by The Confederacy Of Independent Systems, this was Kennan’s home planet. The chances for his mother Crys and himself were slim, his father had died and Kennan had been minorly injured, so him and his mother were desperate for survival. However, during the fighting a Jedi Healer was on the planet and the Jedi treated Kennan’s wound, being impressed by how calm Kennan was being. The Jedi asked his Padwan to test Kennan’s blood, which flushed out his force sensitivity, because of this Kennan was offered priority evacuation if his mother agreed to give him over to The Jedi Order, assuring her that her son would reach safety at The Jedi Temple. Agreeing to this, she soon regretted her decision as shortly after Order 66 was executed. 
 
Despite his mother believing Kennan to be dead, he actually survived Order 66. Being a member of The Soaring Hawkbat Clan, he was on Bogden 3 at the Bogden Jedi Training Facility when Order 66 was executed. After Jedi Masters K’Kruhk and Sian Jeisel arrived with their clone troopers, Order 66 was issued and the clone troopers started to massacre the Jedi, youngling and masters alike. Despite some of the younglings being killed and Jedi Masters Sian Jeisel and Du Mahn being killed in action, some younglings were saved by Jedi K’Kruhk and Chase Piru. They were eventually living on a secluded planet, to try and evade being spotted and executed. 
 
Kennan witnessed Lumbra and his men approaching their broken ship, and then attempting to take a piece from their ship that they needed for their own, only for them to be jumped on by fellow youngling Seddwia, shouting for them to leave their ship alone. After Lumbra started to drag Seddwia away from the camp, Chase Piru intervened and attempted to rescue Seddwia, only to be shot down and beleived to be dead. After Lumbra realized these children were Jedi Younglings, he chained them up intent on handing them over to The Galactic Empire. 
 
Kennan along with the rest of the surviving younglings were rescued by K’Kruhk and Chase Piru, who survived being shot, after killing Lumbra and his men. However it was ironic for Kennan’s mother to think him dead wen he was actually alive, only for her to perish at the hands of the Rakghoul Plague.
