Khan was the ruler of a massive armada that has conquered multiple dimensions. When his forces invaded the 616 dimension, he was opposed by Storm and her team of X-Men that were in search of Destiny’s Diaries. After a difficulty battle, he and his entire armada was defeated, seemingly destroyed or trapped in a collapsed dimensional riff.
