His father, Senator Slocomb, left his mother Elaine before he was born. Angry, his mother was always badmouthing his father. His mother died when he was still young. In the orphange, he learned how to box. He quickly rose through the ranks, earning the nickname Kid Gargantuan. Fighting Bull Brugonski, who cheated with loaded gloves, Kid’s left eye socket was shattered, leaving him partially blinded. His boxing career over, he got an offer from The Goon to work for him. As a token of good will, The Goon shattered Bull Brugonski’s hand with a hammer.

Tasked with bodyguarding Rory Slocomb, the son of Senator Slocomb, the Kid Gargantuan was told by Ramona that Rory was his halfbrother. Discovering that Rory needed protection because he was a rapist, Kid Gargantuan shot Rory. The Goon was then forced to shoot Kid Gargantuan because he was now a liability.
