Origin
Little is known about Kid Pestilence. He was taken on as an apprentice and sidekick by the Horseman of the Apocalypse Pestilence. He and his compatriots in the Four Mopeds of the Apocalypse settled in Delta City, where they spent decades awaiting the signs of the coming apocalypse.
Creation
Kid Pestilence was created by Keith Giffen, Tom Bierbaum, and Mary Bierbaum. He made his first appearance in The Heckler #5. He is analogous to the biblical figure of Conquest, or Pestilence.
Major Story Arcs
The Heckler
Living homeless in an alley of Delta, Kid Pestilence reads in a newspaper that the Hens, the perennially defeated Delta City sports team have actually succeeded in winning a match six to nothing, a sign of the End Times. He reunites with the other members of the Four Mopeds, who have observed similar signs. Together, they perform the ritual to summon the nether god Flying Buttress.
Powers and Abilities
Kid Pestilence appears to be a minor angel or deity of uncertain power or provenance. He may be immortal.
