Not much is established about King Aurore although it is inferred that it’s his wife who lends her power to him as opposed to the traditional archetype. He is easily swayed to the idea that his armies and Caumont’s should join forces (and bring Villeneuve into the alliance) so they would become an unstoppable force instead of taking the time to really consider it.
