Descended from Joseph of Aramithia (the family that defended the Holy Grail) King Pellinore split his time between serving as one of King Arthur’s Knights of the Round Table, and searching for the “Questing Beast”. In the Arthur legends it is said that when Arthur and Pellinore first met they jousted, and that Pellinore won and broke Arthur’s sword, Excalibur. King Pellinore interrupted his endless quest to join the defenders of the Keep at World’s End, and he died in the battle.
