Klyde is the giant gorilla that is Meriem‘s frequent companion. He was Meriem’s grandfather’s laboratory assistant. He has an exceptionally bad temper.
Klyde is another homage to Merian C. Cooper (Cavewoman’s name inspiration), who produced and directed the original King Kong.
