Origin
Raleigh Halward was one of The Chessmen under the employ of Obadiah Stane who gave him powerful technology. He was one of the chessmen who attacked Iron Man on his journey through The Alps.
Creation
Knight was created by Dennis O’Neil and Luke McDonnell, first appearing in Iron Man #167.
Equipment and Weapons
Knight was given powerful technology from Obadiah Stane, including:
- Armour – Knight’s armour was incredibly strong and durable.
- Anti-Gravity Steed – His “horse” was capable of counteracting the force of gravity.
- Energy Lance – Knight possessed a lance which could fire energy bolts.
