He helped Bomo find his wife and daughter. He agreed to help because he had no fear of death. When Bomo and Dass decided they couldn’t ask the crew to risk their lives. Ko was the first to react by slamming his fist on the table and saying he had pledged his sword and wouldn’t leave as long as their was more cutting to do. The rest of the crew followed suit pledging themselves to the pair.
