Young Koala

Koala grew up on Foolshout Island in the Grand Line. Around the age of eight years-old, she was abducted and sold into slavery to the Celestial Dragons, where she was ruthlessly tormented. Though, she was freed with the rest of the slaves by the fish-man, Fisher Tiger. Three years later, she was passed along to Fisher Tiger’s Sun Pirates by other freed slaves to find her home. Although she was scared, she was accepted as one of their own among most of the crew, and Tiger prioritized getting her home.

Tiger took Koala back to her mother and left without saying a word. Unbeknownst to Koala, her village had betrayed Tiger to the Navy as part of a deal to save Koala from being reclaimed as a slave. The gunshots she heard in the distance was the Navy ambush that led to Tiger’s death.

After twelve years, Kaola had learned the truth. She would train in Fish-Man Karate and join the Revolutionary Army, led by Monkey D. Dragon.
