Biography
During the final days of the Clone Wars, Arana attended the briefing on the Outer Rim Sieges at the Jedi Temple where Obi-Wan Kenobi learned that Quinlan Vos had gone to Boz Pity.
Arana was one of the few Jedi to survive Order 66. Koffi’s escape was known to the Galactic Empire, and published in HoloNet News. Unbeknownst to the Empire, Koffi returned to Coruscant shortly after Order 66 and joined the crowds at the base of the Jedi Temple, where he watched the Temple burn. Shadday and a few other Jedi were also standing in the crowd, sharing the sad moment.
He was one of eight Jedi summoned by Master Shadday Potkin to a secret meeting on Kessel to discuss the future of the Jedi Order. Arana advocated taking the fight to the Sith even if it meant falling to the dark side, a chance he got all too soon when Master Potkin revealed the meeting was intended as a trap for Darth Vader, who arrived shortly thereafter.
The Jedi masters succeeded in dismembering the Dark Lord. Koffi, who had been disarmed earlier, advocated the cold blooded murder of Darth Vader. When she opposed him, Koffi Arana slew fellow Jedi Bultar Swan for her lightsaber and flung himself at Vader in fury, and was killed mid-leap by the Dark Lord. His actions allowed Vader to subsequently eliminate his remaining comrades.
When the Galactic Empire emerged, official records compiled by Sate Pesage stated that Arana was killed by his fellow Jedi in a power struggle.
