Kona lives on Monster Isle. Actually, his nickname is Monarch of Monster Isle and he deserves the honor. This man is very brave. He lives on a never discovered island that apparently has unique environmental conditions which has allowed dinosaurs to live on into the 20th Century. Kona is the leader of his tribe. One day a blimp is destroyed by a terrible storm and Dr. Dodd, his lovely widowed daughter Mary, and her two young children, Mason and Lily, arrive on the island. Kona befriends them and they face many terrible dangers together.
