Not much is known about Krause, but he appears to be a make-up artist that is able to reproduce the appearance of art pieces.

Story Arcs
When the Art Operatives remove the Mona Lisa from her portrait at the Louvre, Krause fixes up the face of a girl that is to act as the stand-in. Later, he is shown at an event honoring the work done by the Art Operatives, but he is clearly relegated to being a man thrust behind the scenes.
