Kunoichi worked for the Yakuza when Cat and Mouse came to the them, asking to work for them. The Yakuza boss accepted their offer on the condition that they beat Kunoichi in battle. Kunoichi beat Cat and Mouse soundly, but saw potential in them. Instead of turning them away, Kunoichi offered to train them.
Later, when Cat and Mouse had broken away from the Yakuza, Kunoichi warned them that the Yakuza had hired Tooth and Nail to kill them.
