Kyi is a mutant who wanted to be a super villain. He followed Diamondback and Siren into Taskmaster’s school in order to be trained by him. Taskmaster insists on setting a task before Kyi in order to prove his right to be trained. When his fighting skills are not enough to impress Taskmaster, Kyi reveals his ability to teleport. Impressed, Taskmaster admits Kyi into his academy. One of Kyi’s first training sessions is in a sparring match against Siren.
Later, when Diamondback blows up the academy, Kyi teleports Siren, Taskmaster, and himself to safety, but somehow they end up split up.
What happens to Kyi is unknown, as he is not seen again.
