After escaping comic con with the other members of the Wrecking crew with the exception of Rob and Burger, he is one of the surviving wrecking crew at fort awesome. He know vows revenge against the zombies for killing his friends. During the one month time period skipped Kyle has gained the ability to see someone and ask for his help, in which this mysterious person appears and helps him out of situations. It is ultimately revealed that the person helping him is the Ghost of Drake Masterson but only Kyle knows about him for now.
