Lazlo

At some point in time Lazlo was killed but was brought back to life by the Zombie Priest to continue aiding him in his quest for domination.

Creation

Lazlo was created by Eric Powell for ‘The Goon’ comic series.

Major Story Arcs

The Goon Volume 1

Lazlo is first seen informing the Zombie Priest about the losses they’ve suffered due to The Goon. He then brings a chimpanzee that the Zombie Priest had wanted and straps it down to a table. Lazlo then learns that his boss, the Zombie Priest, wishes to turn it into a Giant Zombie Chimp and finds the idea to be crazy; however, realizing he isn’t in the place to make remarks he just goes along with the idea. Later on, when The Goon arrives at the Zombie’s hidden base Lazlo releases the Giant Zombie Chimp to distract The Goon, allowing him and the priest to escape.

Lazlo is seen again with the Zombie Priest after the chimp failed to defeat The Goon, causing the Zombie Priest to scream and yell while Lazlo is busy wishing he could kill himself and end his servitude. When The G-Men arrive to make a deal with the Zombie Priest, Lazlo is instructed to eat their faces, a task he refuses.

Eventually, when The G-Men capture The Goon, Lazlo is seen once more. He survives the battle following The Goon’s escape and is ordered by the Zombie Priest to gather the dead bodies of The G-Men in order for future experiments.

The Goon Volume 2

With the escape of The Goon, Lazlo takes more of a backseat in the Zombie Priest’s army. He attempts to ambush The Goon & Franky with aid from Milo, however, when the Buzzard interferes he finds himself bested. Buzzard also manages to gnaw off several of Lazlo’s undead fingers. After this failure he returned to the Zombie Priest to plan a new assault.

The Goon Volume 3

Lazlo works alongside other henchmen such as Houstus Grave and the Mongoloid Twins. Due to repeated failures he feels pressured to abandon the cause, and does so when Labrazio is reanimated by The Arab. He meets his final death after Franky unloads on his cranium with a sub-machine gun, causing it to explode.

Powers & Abilities

As a zombie Lazlo was able to function with the loss of vital organs; however, he could still be killed if he sustained severe head trauma.
