Origin
Very little is known about Ledge. A friend of Stu Mosely’s, he became involved in Stu’s activities as the Heckler, providing support and information to his friend throughout his fight with crime.
Creation
Ledge was created by Keith Giffen, Tom Bierbaum, and Mary Bierbaum. He made his first appearance in The Heckler #1.
Major Story Arcs
The Heckler
Ledge acquires information on El Gusano for Heckler, and helps him prepare for their confrontation. He is one of the first to notice John Doe’s generic effect on Delta City, and is able to warn Heckler in time to prevent a catastrophe. He forces Heckler to go on a nighttime patrol, which Heckler resents and vows never to attempt again. During Flying Buttress’ attack on Delta, he is able to provide some background on the nether god.
Powers and Abilities
Ledge has no known superhuman powers or abilities. Though unable to spell, he is a skilled researcher, and appears to be fairly intelligent.
