Origin

After Popov was captured in America, he was transported to the G.A.T.E.‘s mobile headquarters Love Boat to take him back to Russia. On board, he tricked agents to release him. Colonel Capshaw engaged him, hoping to detain him again. He told her about how he was a friend of her father when they both worked for the KGB and that her real name is Anya.
