Leonard Collier is in Morocco where he gambles all his money away. This strands his sister Dorothy Collier along with him. Dorothy sends for money from their aunt, which she receives. Dorothy is befriended by Gypsy Johnson while searching for Leonard. Gypsy helps Dorothy find her brother and later accompanies them on a ship.
The ship is wrecked near an island when a lamp floating in the ocean gives a wrong signal. The island has only Baron von Krasner living on it. The baron captures the trio and uses them in a game in which he hunts them like prey, intending to kill them.
