Liebe ???? R?be? is the devil who resides within Licht’s former grimoire, which is currently owned by Asta. He is the source behind Asta’s Anti Magic.
Origin
Liebe is the lowest-ranking devil, due to that, the higher ranks would torment him everyone due to his no magical power.
One day, a enraged higher ranked devil threw him to the border of the underworld. Expecting to hit and fall, he easily bypasses the border due to having no magical power.
He arrives to the human world and walks for shelter. As he walk, he passes by frightened humans who calls the magic knights. After getting into a fight with the magic knights, he runs off and drop to the ground, expecting to die.
Unexpectedly, he wakes up in a home all healed up. A lady named Lichita has been taking care of him and due to them both having no magical powers, Lichita adopts Liebe and names Liebe. Liebe felt love as the years go by spending his time with Lichita. One day, Liebe asks why Lichita was never afraid of him, in which she replies saying just because one is a devil doesn’t mean they’re always bad.
Liebe then feels a spiritual attack and realizes Lucifero, the highest ranking devil, is attempting to possess him. Lucifero attempts to steal Liebe’s body but is stopped as his magical power is getting absorbed by Lichita. Lucifero having no other choice, impales Lichita and goes back to the Underworld
A dying Lichita seals Liebe into his grimoire in hopes Liebe can be safe
