Lieutenant Nebraska was on the military unit that captured Casque and his men. His position was that of a common guard and it was clear he was not kept in the know of what went on in the military base. When a member of the Blue tried to escape he nearly made it had Andrew Nebraska not stepped in the way but Andrew was caught in a wave of sympathy for this other man whose offense was not known to him and hesitated. Unlike Andrew his unit did not feel the same and opened fire of him as well as the escapee.Â
