Lieutenant Boyer

The Blue Duke drops a message from his plane at the airbase where the French 40th Pursuit Squadron is based. The message states that he’d shot down the two French planes sent out on patrol that morning, respectively piloted by Lieutenant Boyer and Lieutenant Villon. The Duke also presents a challenge to Loop Logan.

After Logan shoots down the Blue Duke’s plane, he sees Villon escaping the craft by parachute. In his confusion, Loop meets Villon on the ground, where Villon reveals himself to be the Blue Duke and a Nazi pilot. Villon overcomes Loop, and returns with his captive to the Nazi airbase. Loop and Boyer are held in the same area, though Villon questions the wisdom of keeping the prisoners together. Loop and Boyer escape , steal Nazi planes, and use them to wreak havoc on the Nazi airfield. Back at the French airbase, Loop is commended for his actions. Although it is not expressly stated, it is likely that Major Leroux offers commendation to Boyer as well.
