Lina Muller was a reporter for the Italian press who was on assignment in Gotham City to cover bombings by the Death’s Head terrorist group. While there, she was replaced by Sophia Santos, a terrorist wanted by Interpol under the alias Thanatos. Thanatos, the leader of the Death’s Head group, used Lina Muller’s identity to seduce Bruce Wayne in hopes of getting information and funding for the cause. Bruce Wayne, as Batman, deduced Thanatos’ identity. The fate of the real Lina Muller remains to be seen.
