According to his creator Tom Stazer, Lionheart was named after his black cat, who was named after the Kate Bush album. He is a feline investigative reporter frequently got mixed up with aliens and monsters. He appeared regularly in Fantagraphic’s Critters, with two issues devoted exclusively to his stories. He had stories published in Usagi Yojimbo Volume 1 (one drawn by Stan Sakai), and Usagi Yojimbo Volume 2. Lionheart also appeared in various cameos.
