She was found in Tibet by Gordon Sanders with gun shot wounds. Gordon aided Llhupa and the two eventually married and moved back to the United States. However unknown to Gordon at the time the reason she had a gun shot wound was because of him. Llhupa as it turns out is a werewolf and earlier she had attacked him as a wolf and had bitten him causing him to suffer the curse of lycanthropy.
It is unknown whether or not she was bitten herself or if she had always carried the affliction, but when Gordon put the pieces together and attempted to end her life she killed him instead. Not soon after she was killed by the Vision known as Aarkus.
Her appearance differs greatly from her husband who she inflicted with the curse. He appears to be a beastly half man half wolf but when Llhupa transforms she simply looks like a wolf.
