Lono started off his criminal career young. At twelve, he was caught dealing drugs and sent to a reform school. There, he took a ruler from a teacher who hit him with it and shoved the ruler down his throat, ending up on death row for murder by the time he reached age fourteen. That was where Mr. Shepherd found him and recruited him to become a Minuteman known as the Dog.
