Lorraine was a brilliant scientist who fell in love with Superman and sought to prove she could be his wife. This pursuit eventually drove her insane as each attempt she made was upstaged by one of Superman’s three girlfriends (Lois Lane, Lana Lang, and Lori Lemaris).
