Origin

The granddaughter of the sorcerer Byzantium Mack, Lotus Blossom was raised in California by her hippie parents. Dissatisfied with her life there, she pursues sorcery.

Creation

Lotus Blossom was created by Lilah Sturges and Luca Rossi. She made her first appearance in House of Mystery #30.

Major Story Arcs

House of Mystery

Lotus Blossom wanders into the House of Mystery and strikes up a relationship with Jordan Mayer. She accompanies the occupants of the House when they are forced to relocate to the House of Secrets, but later parts ways with them. Some time later she relocates to New York to explore sorcery. While there, she meets and falls in love with Harry Bailey, who reciprocates. She rescues Harry from the dungeons of the Conception, simultaneously stealing a version of the House, and uses magic to recreate it with herself as its master. With Harry, she runs the bar for some time until it becomes clear that her reality is unstable. She is attacked by The Conjurer, Every1, M. Emory, and Cain, who are trying to preserve the universe. She manages to kill the first three, and passes the key to Fig Keele, who stabilizes reality. Lotus Blossom returns to running the bar at the House with Harry. They eventually marry.
