Louie Perlongetti was working as a janitor at Springdale High School when he was filmed by a student journalist named Patty O’Donnels while she was working on a piece on the Masked Marvel. Perlongetti was very upset because he was on camera and wanted to get the tape from Patty by any means necessary. Patty was followed by Perlongetti and taken into an alley. Perlongetti threatened to kill Patty with a knife if she did not give him the tape. Robbie Baldwin saw what was happening and changed into the Masked Marvel. Patty was saved and Perlongetti was down for the count until the cops arrived. It turned out that Perlongetti was a fugitive that was wanted for embezzling thirty grand from his ex-wife in Cleveland and disappeared after he committed that crime.

Louie Perlongetti was created by Fabian Nicieza and Steve Ditko in 1990 and first appeared in Marvel Super-Heroes # 1.Â
