When his friend, Lt. Lou Hackett vanished without a trace, Lt. Victor Northrup ran the investigation into the disappearance. He also took up Hackett’s case looking into werewolf sightings. When he and his officers nearly captured the Werewolf, any skepticism he harbored was gone. At that point, he became obsessed with apprehending the beast. When his search took him to Haiti, and he became involved in a supernatural conflict, he witnessed the Werewolf, who he later learned was Jack Russell, acting heroically. At that point, he abandoned his werewolf quest.
