Lucas Simon first appeared in Green Lantern (Vol 3) #169, where he asked Jade out on a date at Radu’s. She turned him down, but later changed her mind and gave him her number. He called her and they when on a carriage ride on there first date. On there next date they had dinner at Jadeand Kyle’s apartment, but it didn’t go so well when Lucas found the wedding ring that Kyle was going to give to his old girlfriend, Alexandra Dewitt. After Jade explained the ring, Lucas got mad and left.
