Lucy Regent is queen of the kingdom of Borgonia in Latin America. Who trains in athletics and unarmed combat. She decides to go incognito to an American city, to spend a few days as an ordinary girl. She chooses Smallville.
One afternoon, Lucy helps Superboy against criminals, and the Smallville Star newspaper puts on its cover the question if: Is Lucy Regent a Supergirl?
Duke Norvello, who controls the de facto government with an iron fist, finds out that Queen has gone to Smallville. He sends men there to bring the Queen back and confine her to the castle as he has done for years, since he is afraid she will take the hearts of the people and begin to rule them for real.
In Smallville, Lucy Regent wears a uniform with an S, and during a performance she performs super tricks that lead the people of Smallville to believe that she has superpowers. By jumping away, Supergirl was secretly helped by Superboy’s super breath.
Lucy and Superboy run into Duke Norvello’s men, who shoot.
Supergirl stands in front of Superboy to stop the bullets. Superboy manages to stop the bullets and is impressed by how Lucy tried to protect him.
After this Lucy is taken to Borgonia by Duke Norvello’s henchmen, there they put an iron mask on her.
Superboy goes to Borgonia to save Lucy, who presents herself to the people as a solution to Duke Norvello’s government.
