Lugia is a Psychic/Flying pokemon, with dragon like capabilities. It is the Official mascot of Pokemon Silver version and has had a movie dedicated to it. “It is also known as the guardian of the seas.”

Anime Appearances

• Lugia is heavily featured in the second Pokémon movie, called Pokémon the Power of One. A Pokémon collector was traveling the orange islands trying to capture Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres; their capture would draw Lugia out of hiding. Sure enough the man succeed in Capturing the trio, however thanks to Ash they were set free. The three birds, began fighting over which perspective power should reign supreme (Fire,Ice or Thunder), there fighting drew Lugia out of hiding the Mystical beast was able to silence their fight.
• A Lugia also appears in the 18th Pokémon movie, called Hoopa and the Clash of Ages.
• Lugia also appears in Pokémon Generations
