Luke is a truly intelligent man but he’s abilities with women are lacking. His ex-girlfriend recently threw him out and burned his clothes, leaving him on the street with only a jacket to his name.
When he goes back to her to demand his belongings back and she tells him she’s burned them, he tries to control her telepathically. Arkady saves him from being found out by inflicting a flash of her overdose onto his mind. If she hadn’t, Sirkka and the rest of the FreakAngels would have condemned him to death for controlling someone who has no protection against their powers.
