Origin
Seol Hee was an aspiring singer hoping to become a K-Pop star to earn enough money to take care of her grandmother. When A.I.M. ambushed a Stark Industries event where Seol was performing, she tried to defend the innocent people attending her show. However she was easily overpowered and the A.I.M soldiers locked her in a hi-tech freezer. Attempting to escape the freezer, Seol was exposed to the elements of a cold-fusion energy reactor and the combination of strange radiation and intense cold gave Seol the power to control cold and darkness. Using her powers to defeat A.I.M., Seol became the superhero “Luna Snow”!
She’s a serious person. A K-Pop star. A super hero. She’s got responsibilities.
Creation
Luna Snow was created Danny Koo, Bill Rosemann and Jeehyung Lee for the mobile game Marvel Future Fight. Her comic book debut was in War of the Realms: New Agents of Atlas issue 1 (2019), by Greg Pak and Gang Hyuk Lim.

Joining the New Agents of Atlas

As part of Malekith’s invasion of Midgard, the fire giantess Sindr commanded her demons of Muspelheim against the armed forces of South Korea and the people of Seoul. Luna Snow intervenes alongside fellow South Korean heroes White Fox and Crescent and Io, helping civilians escape before the Agents of Atlas can provide assistance. In the ensuing battle Seol’s powers are turned against her and she is captured by Sindr within the Gyeongbokgung Palace, but is quickly rescued by Amadeus Cho and Luna Snow formally joins the New Agents of Atlas.
To counter Sindr’s melting of the polar ice caps, Luna Snow is teamed up Shanghainese hero Aero and Filipina newcomer Wave to form a trio dubbed the Elementals. While Cho distracts Sindr and her army, the trio leap through the Queen of Muspelheim’s portal and combine their powers of water, wind and ice to create a vast tornado that rapidly cools the Arctic climate. Once the damage is reversed, the Elementals rejoin their fellow Agents of Atlas at the Great Wall of China north of Beijing to defeat Sindr for good.
Portal City of Pan & Atlantis Attacks

Luna Snow reunites with the Elementals to lure and send home a stray fire dragon from Sindr’s invasion. There she, along with the Agents of Atlas, encounter a new hero called Protector who brings them to the new city of Pan. Pan is a city made up of numerous Asian cities around the globe, brought together through portal technology masterminded by billionaire CEO Mike Nguyen. Pan is almost immediately bombarded by numerous wyvern attacks which Seol Hee and her teammates fight back, defending the city’s tourists all while Seol balances flirtationus advances by both Protector and Amadeus. The Agents are officially branded the new “Heroes of Pan,” but with her business savvy Seol Hee sees through Nguyen’s PR gimmicks, and confides her suspicions of Pan’s utopian facade with Amadeus. The two begin to bond which reveals a potential romantic attraction, but the two are interrupted when Pan soldiers begin attacking Madripoorian immigrants who have made a long perilous journey by sea to get to Pan. Both heroes ardently defend the immigrants and Protector reels in the guards, apologising and promising to keep the people safe. Now alone, Seol Hee and Amadeus kiss, a private moment that is captured by surveillance cameras and weaponized by Nguyen as part of his Pan Pass marketing campaign. Luna is outraged by Nguyen’s illegal use of their kiss – as K-Pop stars have non-dating clauses in their contracts and the footage could could destroy her career – so she sues for copyright and trademark infringement in response. Nguyen settles with Luna, however the publicity of their intimate moment and potential risk to Seol’s idol career sours any romantic potential the couple could have had.

The source of Pan’s magical portal technology is soon revealed to be powered by a kidnapped Atlantian dragon, and King Namor launches a singular invasion of the city. Luna is among the Agents of Atlas who want no part in the war, insisting that it is their job to protect civilians and aid in evacuation efforts. When Namor returns to Pan in a blind rage to kill Mike Nguyen and sink the city, Luna Snow and Aero manage to hold him back for an extended time until the team formulates a plan.
Silk Team-Up

While Korean-America superhero Silk was a huge fan of Luna Snow the K-idol, the two became genuine friends working together as part of the Agents of Atlas. Both were the moral center of the team, consistently defending the rights of the people of Pan, and Seol Hee appreciated Cindy Moon’s friendship with her as an actual person. After the battle between Atlantis and Pan, Luna Snow begins her first U.S. solo tour to promote her new album and sends Silk tickets to attend her sold out NYC concert at Madison Square Garden. Silk is currently investigating the mystery surrounding a 17th Century Manyeo (Korean witch), and her warriors attempt to kidnap Luna in the middle of her performance. Cindy suits up as Silk and intervenes the brawl breaking out between Luna and the warriors on stage, which the two ladies win to the crowd’s fervant applause. After the concert ends Luna invites Cindy back to her dressing room, where she offers her assistance in defeating the Manyeo, but Cindy declines and reminds Seol she still has a tour to finish.
Joining Tiger Division

Off-panel, White Fox officially invites Luna Snow to join the National Intelligence Service’s superhuman response team Tiger Division. Shortly after she joins, the team’s heavy hitter Taegukgi is mind controlled by the gangsters Choi Faction, who threatens to unleash him upon Seoul unless the government cede control of state to them. White Fox blackmails the American thief Black Cat to assist with the team’s rescue operation, and the team set off from their base on Burasam Mountain to investigate the Choi’s hideout at an abandoned DMZ ski resort. While Fox & Cat investigate the resort, Luna joins the rest of her team in “distracting” South Korea’s most powerful superhuman. Tiger Division are woefully outmatched and Luna is injured in the battle, being guarded by her teammate Lady Bright‘s sorcery before a falling building can crush them. The team hold on long enough for Fox & Cat to locate the man psychically possessing Taegukgi’s body, Mongdal, and free Taegukgi from his control.
Powers & Abilities
Luna produces a special type of cryokinesis, allowing for ‘dark ice’ that can be used offensively and ‘light ice’ for healing.

Marvel Future Fight

Luna Snow was created as the first original character made by Danny Koo for the NetEase mobile game Marvel Future Fight. She was added to the game in January 2018 as a Speed type character, and has become the poster character for the mobile game since her launch.
When A.I.M. ambushed a Stark Industries party where aspiring singer Seol Hee was performing, her attempts to defend the partygoers caused A.I.M. agents to lock her in a storage freezer. During her escape, she knocked over the contents of an energy experiment, exposing her to elements that granted her ice powers which she then used to defeat A.I.M. Her heroic actions made her an overnight sensation, and she continues to use her talent and powers under the name “Luna Snow” — part time pop star, part-time Super Hero!
