“MAC” is the name with which it manages the shop of unusual objects (open only on Fridays) and its stand located at the entrance to the Alfa Building.
It is in fact impossible to classify this robot in a more exact way. It was once a C3 model, suitable for archival and cataloging work. The C3, for a functional anomaly (some claim to have read too many books and have seen too many adventure films), developed a form of “fantasy”, which allowed them to have a very articulate language and to repair themselves, buying their spare parts by humans in exchange for materials that are nowhere to be found and collectors’ items, such as vinyl records or video cassettes.
The C3, in fact, have devised methods for the maintenance of these findings, known only to them.
The production of the C3 series was suspended more than 30 years ago. Their appearance can therefore vary a lot because, since there are no more suitable spare parts, the C3 can arrange themselves with pieces of other robots. Not being human, they do not need a license to sell their goods. But they have a schedule that prevents them from selling weapons or materials that can harm people.
