Mac Cabre eas one of the Dancer’s lieutenants and had supposedly died with him in that insurrection fifteen years ago.
When the Dancer had finally retired from the Arena, he had become a Crimelord in the Pit, welding the poor and the gladiators into an army with which he assaulted Cynosure.
The Dancer’s War was still a legend and his top men were cornered in an old building which was then burned to the ground. There was even a song about how they pulled the charred corpses from it afterwards to feed the ravens.
