There was originally a continuity error in the Weekly Sh?nen Jump publication of One Piece Ch. 544. She was illustrated in a flashback as a young woman, but this would have made her older than thirty years of age in the current time line. In series, mermaids can split their legs to walk once they are thirty years old. Oda would later correct this in Volume 65’s release by redrawing Sharley as much younger.
