Magilla is a big, kind, naive gorilla on sale at Peebles’ Pet Shop, run by Mr. Peebles, who has been trying to sell Magilla since he was just a baby. The price for Magilla Gorilla has gone down through time, because no one wanted to buy Magilla. Although he has been purchased temporarily to play on a football team, assist in robbing banks, experimentation, hunting, etc. But there was only one little girl named Ogee who really wanted him for a pet, but never really had enough money, and her parents did not allow it.
