Rise and Shine

A former toymaker, Mako became an arms dealer and engineer. He founded Project: Ultra-Tech for the U.S. Army, but misappropriated government funds and planned to sell the cyborg soldiers he was creating to international corporations. When Eric Savin, an army officer in charge of supervising the program started asking questions, he pulled strings to have him transferred to a new assignment and then killed.

Mako then had his surgeon Gina Dyson rebuild Savin as the android Coldblood. He put Coldblood through various tests, but Coldblood soon escaped with Dyson’s help. Mako discovered Dyson’s involvement and had her taken prisoner.

Mako sent android assassins after Coldblood, then threatened to kill Dyson if Coldblood did not return to him. He held a gala for his international buyers, but they became displeased when he admitted he did not currently have his prototype cyborg super-soldier to demonstrate. Furious with their disrespect, Mako killed all of his buyers as they departed in their private jets and helicopters. Meanwhile, he tortured Gina Dyson with his robots, but one of his other dissatisfied employees, a man named Charles helped Gina to escape.

Gina and Coldblood soon reunited and disabled Mako’s robots and security forces. Mako used an experimental assault walker to attack them, but Coldblood rammed his car into Mako, leaving him a dying wreck. Mako tried to shoot Gina and Coldblood one last time, but Charles shot him, allowing Coldblood to put an end to the madman.
