A volume later into the “GALS!” storyline, Mami Honda steps into the Shibuya District only to be challenged by Ran Kotobuki. Since then, she uses her athletic ability to battle Ran in said challenges as well as her brains to manipulate Ran’s friends alongside her comrade, Harue Kudo.
