Mandhur, also known as the King of Rats, rules over the Alam-Al-Mithal, a world that exists in the fabric between the universes of the Multiverse. This place stands at the limit between dreams and reality, truth and fiction mix together and the inhabitants, those who gets here and the very laws and the structure of the world are ever changing and completely messed up. Mandhur likes to hold positions of power on Earth and drag the souls of people into the Alam-Al-Mithal, forcing them to live eternally in his nightmarish world, to torment them and play with their fears and desperation. In order to do so, he and his people spreads an otherwordly disease, that splits the victim’s souls between dreams and wake. The affected ones are unable to sleep and their perception of reality is altered, and they live and interact alternatively with the real world and the Alam-Al-Mithal, without always knowing the truth. Eventually the body dies, but the spirit continues to live, at the mercy of the evil Mandhur.
