Appearance
Manga is a very short young man with fair skin and a blank, pale-white speech bubble as a head and neck which can change shape and display his thoughts in written form.
Manga’s hero costume consists of a blue shirt with red sleeves and pants covered by a series of ink bottle-like pieces of armor around his torso and legs, black on his torso and white on his legs. He wears a belt with manga panels, elbow under-length gloves, and his mask resembles a manga page template.
Personality
Manga appears to be an expressive and dramatic person, evident by his enthusiasm during the Cavalry Battle and Joint Training Session with Class 1-A. He also seems to have a soft spot for children as he enjoys making them smile.
Abilities
Overall Abilities: Manga primarily employs the effective handling he has on his Quirk, Comic. With his power, Manga creates onomatopoeia that can spawn different effects, making him a versatile combatant that excels in offense, defense, and support. During the second round of the Joint Training Battle, Manga, under the leadership of Itsuka Kendo, played an effective, multifaceted role. He used his Quirk to amplify that of Kinoko Komori, separate Momo Yaoyorozu from her teammates, and defend against Yuga Aoyama‘s Navel Laser. His abilities eventually garnered the attention of Wash, giving Manga the opportunity to intern under the No. 8 Pro Hero, and improve his communication skills.
Quirk
Comic (???? Komikku): Manga’s Quirk allows him to materialize words in midair by speaking them. These words are onomatopoeia (words that describe sounds) which can manifest the effects of the phenomenon that the sound suggests. The only drawback is that the overuse of his Quirk can cause him to get an incredibly sore throat.
