Origin
The old man known only as Map-Giver was a human slave of the alien species The Vine. He worked in the halls leading to the mother-ship’s Armory where the X-O Manowar armour was located. Map-Giver provided a map of the ship to Aric of Dacia helping him to locate the armour.
Creation
Map-Giver was created by writer Robert Venditti and artist Cary Nord. He first appeared in “Escaping Eden” in 2012.
