Mara helps rescue Hulk from Attuma‘s undersea monster and is impressed by his strength. However she finds Bruce Banner weak and unattractive. She is supposed to marry Canor but does not really want to.
Origin
Little is known of Mara’s origin apart from the fact that she is a Lemurian warrior and is betrothed to Canor. She is part of the Lemurian rebel army who usurp Attuma’s rule.
Creation
Mara was created by writer Mark Waid and penciler Leinil Yu. She first appeared in Indestructible Hulk #5 (Apr. 2013).
