History
Mara the Dreamer was one of the thousands of refugees known as Wanderers from Earth-7614 who joined Prince Wayfinder of Ithacon on his crusade to find the Sword in the Star and overthrow the Haamin, during which time she became one of Wayfinder’s must trusted companions alongside, when the end finally came for those who destroyed her homeworld Prince Wayfinder used the power of The Enigma Force to send himself, Mara and the rest of the Wanderers to the ancient past of Earth-616.
Following their arrival they encountered the primordial form of the demon Mephisto and a horde of rejected early experiments created by The Celestials, which they defeated together and established a home for themselves in what would one day become India. However, Chaos and his Whirldemons did not take kindly to the presence of the Wanderers and lead a massive assault on their shining citadel, unfortunately for Mara and her allies, they proved to be too powerful. Luckily, the Sword in the Star, having become fed up with using it’s power and then being blamed for doing nothing later on transformed Prince Wayfinder into The Enigma Force and whisked Mara and the others away to the newly-created Microverse.
After a long life serving Prince Wayfinder, she was buried alongside him and her fellow champions in his tomb in the Dead Zone of Homeworld. It is unknown if she ever left any descendants behind, though given her overtly apparent fondness for Wayfinder for saving her from the depths of despair, it is entirely possible that she is Arcturus Rann’s maternal ancestor.
