While growing up, Margo found herself attracted to “manly” men – athletes, hunters, war heroes. Later she becomes a socialite who is interested in wealthy men such as oil tycoons. To her chagrin she falls in love with a playwright, despite her initial reaction being that he is not her kind of man, and tries to force herself to stop to love him. However, her love is too strong and despite trying to push him away she succumbs to his charms.
